ISOPP’s Newsletter, published monthly and sent via email directly to members, is the home of international discussion on oncology pharmacy research and practice. We are always looking for contributions.

Submit an article

Contributed articles to be published in the ISOPP Newsletter should be sent to the Newsletter Editor at newsletter@isopp.org as an attached Microsoft Word document, or in the body of the email message.

The deadline for contributions will be two weeks before the 1st of the month.

All contributions must be in English, but consideration may be given to short articles written in another language with a full English translation included. Members who may need assistance writing in the English language are encouraged to contact the Newsletter Editor for help and guidance. 

Photos should be in jpeg or tiff file formats with a minimum size of 500kb and preferably under 1mb.

 

Suggested categories for contributed articles include:

  1. Conference reports on meetings of interest to oncology pharmacists (e.g. CAPhO, BOPA, HOPA, COSA) that the author has attended. Length: Up to 1500 words. Photos: Maximum of 5 photos or images (please include one of the author)
  2. Future meetings of interest to oncology pharmacists. Include dates, city and country where the meeting is to be held and a contact person for further information (either a web site or an email address or a person’s name and address). Length: Up to 50 words. Photos: Only 1 photo
  3.  A ‘Day in the Life of a [name country] oncology pharmacist’ article that describes the activities undertaken in a typical day’s work. An example can be obtained from the Newsletter Editor for guidance. Length: Up to 750 words. Photos: Maximum of 4 photos or images (please include one of the author)
  4. Other oncology events or news of interest to oncology pharmacists will be considered. Contact the Newsletter Editor if you have something you think is suitable. Length: Up to 500 words. Photos: Maximum of 2 photos
  5. Letter to the Editor. Length: Up to 100 words. Photos: Maximum of 2 photos

Newsletter Work Group

If you would like to be a member of the Newsletter Work Group, please get in touch. Newsletter Work Group members are required to contribute one article each year as well as source articles from other members and add to the discussion about improving the content.
