About

What we do

The International Society of Oncology Pharmacy Practitioners (ISOPP) exists to advance oncology pharmacy care for patients around the world.

Through the society’s Symposia, journal (JOPP), newsletters and website, we connect our members with leading edge oncology knowledge, best practices and essential professional networks. Our many member benefits include financial assistance through research awards, travel grants, and reduced registration fees to ISOPP's Symposia and Masterclasses. Our partnership benefits include collaborative research projects on topics of shared interest and priority, Advisory Board / Focus Group (virtual or in-person) opportunities and surveying the opinions of ISOPP’s members.

Oncology pharmacists from more than 30 countries attend our Symposia. Together we inspire the global oncology pharmacy community to take action, deliver enhanced professional development resources, and advocate for our profession out of a shared passion for helping cancer patients.

Our members

ISOPP members share a common interest: providing optimal drug therapy to cancer patients. They are pharmacists practicing in a variety of settings who provide clinical pharmacy and/or cytotoxic preparation services for cancer patients.

Many ISOPP members are part of healthcare teams involved in cancer prevention, treatment, supportive care, and symptom management. ISOPP takes a special interest in the prevention and/or management of toxicities associated with cancer treatment. ISOPP members are also involved in clinical and laboratory based research, education and management.
