Virtual Education Resource Library

ISOPP’s Virtual Education Resource Library (the Virtual Library) serves as a hub for oncology pharmacy practitioners from around the world to access the breadth and depth of knowledge of ISOPP members and others on a 24-hour basis. Complimentary access to the Symposium video presentations for which you were registered for up until the start of the next Symposium and for a maximum of one year. Available to members and non-members for a fee.

ISOPP's inaugural webinar is complimentary for ISOPP Members. Visit the "Watch a Webinar" page to find out about upcoming Webinars.  To register, log in as a member, return to the "Watch a Webinar" page and then click the "Register for a Webinar" button. As a member, if you miss a live webinar, you can watch it at your leisure after the broadcast on the ISOPP website.

E-learning tool Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation

The purpose of Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation (HSCT) E-learning Tool is to provide basic knowledge to hospital and community pharmacists involved in the pharmaceutical care for HSCT patients. Different topics will be discussed including: hematopoiesis, different types and sources of HSCT, process of HSCT, early and late complications, drugs used during conditioning regimens, drugs used in prevention and treatment of complications. The tool takes approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour to complete, depending on the knowledge and experience of the user.

Guideline Endorsement

Do you have a guideline that you would like to submit for ISOPP’s endorsement? As per the National Guideline Clearinghouse, guidelines are statements that include recommendations intended to optimize patient care that are informed by a systematic review of evidence and an assessment of the benefits and harms of alternative care options. For further details on eligibility and the evaluation process, review the ISOPP Policy on Endorsement of Guidelines

Reach our Members

Interested in the opinions of ISOPP’s members? ISOPP will distribute your survey, if it meets set criteria.  This service is free for if the principal investigator or co-investigator is an ISOPP member, and is available to non members for a fee of $750 CDN. The condition of distribution is that ISOPP receives a copy of the final report that survey results are used for, and if published, ISOPP is acknowledged in the publication.

Standards of Practice

ISOPP’s Standards of Practice in cancer pharmacy communicate to healthcare professionals the roles and responsibilities of oncology pharmacists and provide a benchmark to evaluate the quality of services and patient care.
