SHPA's Extension Seminar in Oncology will be delivered by a combination of an online self-paced learning package followed by a live virtual seminar on across Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 March 2022.  It is designed to extend your knowledge and skills in oncology.

It is suitable for pharmacists with experience practicing in oncology who are looking to extend or consolidate their knowledge and skills.

This seminar will cover key concepts in managing various cancers including melanoma, hereditary cancers, bladder cancer, gastric cancer and gastrointestinal stromal tumours (GIST).  The self-paced learning package, available from Friday 11 February 2022, comprises approximately 5hrs of learning material focusing on fundamentals of these malignancies.  Attendees will explore these key concepts in greater detail during the live seminar across Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 March 2022 in dedicated case study sessions and Q&A with expert presenters.  The live seminar will feature a Socratic-style debate where attendees will critically appraise literature in the context of clinical decision making and communication.

The self-paced learning package materials must be completed prior to attending the live virtual seminar.

Please note: all attendees will have 18 weeks of access to the seminar self-paced learning package and resources from your date of enrolment into this page.  Enrolment details will be sent to registered attendees when available.
