The Safer Healthcare Biosafety Network will be hosting a webinar "Safer Handling of Hazardous Medicinal Products: Frontline Pressures, Education and Culture" on Thursday 25 June, 12:00 to 13:00 BST/GMT+1. This webinar will bring together frontline clinical expertise and academic insight to examine the growing pressures facing healthcare workers who handle hazardous medicinal products, the guidance available to protect them, and the education and cultural change needed to make safer practice a reality.

The Frontline Defences Webinar Series is a continuing professional development (CPD) programme for healthcare professionals, including pharmacists, physicians, nurses, community health workers, and public health practitioners. It addresses the growing threat of unsafe medicines—substandard, falsified, and unregistered products—which undermine treatment outcomes, drive antimicrobial resistance, and erode trust in healthcare systems across Africa.
