ISOPP Election 2027
ISOPP's 2027 elections will take place in December 2026 and January 2027. We are seeking nominations for the position of President-Elect, with the successful candidate assuming the role following the virtual 2027 Annual General Meeting (date to be confirmed). The position includes a one-year term as President-Elect, followed by two years as President and one year as Past President.
The following criteria will be used to assess candidates:
Stage 1: Required Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet all of the following requirements:
- Minimum of two years of ISOPP membership
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in English
- Letter of support or recommendation from an ISOPP member with a minimum of one year of membership
- Prior volunteer experience with ISOPP through active participation on a Committee or Task Force for at least 12 months, as confirmed by the Chair
Stage 2: Additional Considerations
Candidates who meet the Stage 1 requirements will be assessed based on:
- Professional experience in oncology pharmacy
- Diversity of practice experience and progressive levels of responsibility
- Involvement in oncology pharmacy, professional organizations, and other leadership or volunteer activities
- Geographic diversity
Please note: Candidates must be current ISOPP members and agree to renew their membership when their next renewal period occurs.
Application Requirements
To complete a nomination, applicants must provide:
- A personal statement outlining their interest in serving on the Secretariat (this statement will be shared with members if the candidate is included on the election slate)
- A current curriculum vitae (CV) or résumé
- A current headshot photograph (JPEG format)
All applications will be reviewed by the Nominations Task Force, with the recommended election slate subsequently approved by the Governance Committee and Secretariat.
