Cast Your Vote – “Pharmacogenomics is Over-Rated” Global Debate

Thank you to everyone who joined the first global debate in our collaborative educational series between COSA, ISOPP, BOPA, and CAPhO: “Pharmacogenomics is Over-Rated.”

We heard compelling arguments from both sides — that enthusiasm for pharmacogenomics may have outpaced evidence and implementation, and conversely, that PGx is already transforming clinical practice and improving outcomes for cancer patients worldwide.

By presenting arguments from contrasting and extreme viewpoints with global perspectives, this debate provided valuable insights into both sides of the discussion — broadening our understanding of the diverse evidence, experiences, and challenges shaping pharmacogenomics in cancer care.

If you attended the live event, please take a moment to cast your vote using the link below.

If you missed it, you can watch the recorded debate and submit your vote before Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at 20:00 Sydney / 05:00 Toronto / 09:00 London / 12:00 Addis Ababa.
