HOPA proudly presents Healing, Optimism, Pharmacy, and Advocacy: Stories and Perspectives from Oncology Pharmacists, a brand new publication about the hematology/oncology pharmacy experience, by hematology/oncology pharmacists. HOPA was gracious to include several ISOPP members' stories in the publication.

Dr. Shawn Griffin was awarded the 2026 Oncology Pharmacy Practice Literature Award by the Hematology/Oncology Pharmacy Association (HOPA). This award recognizes his co-authored work, “Time to Complete Oncology Pharmacist Tasks: A Joint Opinion of HOPA and the American College of Clinical Pharmacy Hematology/Oncology Practice and Research Network,” for its significant impact on advancing oncology pharmacy practice. Dr. Griffin received this honor at the 2026 HOPA Annual Conference held in New Orleans.

We’re thrilled to celebrate the first-ever Oncology Pharmacist Day on April 3, 2026! Although oncology pharmacists are often included in other professional days of recognition, April 3 is 100% dedicated to the medication experts working across the continuum of cancer care.
