I wish to serve on the ISOPP Secretariat because I am deeply committed to advancing oncology pharmacy practice globally, particularly in low- and middle-income countries. Over the past decade, I have actively engaged in clinical pharmacy, oncology research, and professional training, which has given me a strong appreciation of ISOPP’s mission to improve cancer care through excellence in oncology pharmacy.

As a clinical pharmacist, researcher, and educator, I have worked to strengthen cancer treatment outcomes and build capacity among pharmacy professionals in Kenya and Ethiopia. I have authored over 30 peer-reviewed publications focusing on treatment outcomes, pharmacovigilance, and drug-related problems in oncology, which align closely with ISOPP’s goals of evidence-based practice and research dissemination. I also mentor young pharmacists and advocate for the integration of clinical pharmacy into multidisciplinary cancer care teams.

Serving on the ISOPP Secretariat would provide an opportunity to contribute my experience in research, policy development, and professional education toward advancing ISOPP’s strategic objectives. I am particularly interested in supporting initiatives that enhance oncology pharmacy education, promote global collaboration, and strengthen access to safe and effective cancer therapy in resource-limited settings.

I believe my leadership, collaborative spirit, and passion for equity in cancer care make me well-suited for this role. I am eager to contribute to ISOPP’s continued growth and to help shape the future of oncology pharmacy worldwide.
