Spotlight on ISOPP Member Publication

A number of ISOPP members have published a paper on ‘The Educational and Practice Needs of Oncology Pharmacists in West Africa: A Call for Multidisciplinary Team Approach in Oncology Care’. The paper emphasizes the importance of training in chemotherapy reconstitution, integrating pharmacists into multidisciplinary teams (MDTs), and ensuring the safe handling of chemotherapy within treatment centers to improve patient outcomes. ISOPP recognizes these needs and has already begun taking action. Further updates will be shared in the coming weeks.
