Message from the President of ISOPP

Dear Colleagues, 

It is both a privilege and a heartfelt honor to serve as the President of the International Society of Oncology Pharmacy Practitioners (ISOPP). As I continue in this role, I am filled with immense gratitude and a strong sense of purpose. Together, we stand at the forefront of transforming cancer care through the advancement of oncology pharmacy – and our impact resonates across every continent, in every healthcare system, and with every patient we care for.

At ISOPP, we believe that expertise knows no borders. Whether you are working in a high-income country (HIC) with advanced infrastructure or a low- and middle-income country (LMIC) facing complex resource constraints, your dedication to excellence in oncology pharmacy matters. Your knowledge, creativity, and resilience shape better outcomes for patients around the world.

My vision for ISOPP is simple yet bold: to unite and uplift every oncology pharmacy practitioner – everywhere. I want every member to feel empowered, supported, and inspired to lead change, no matter their circumstances. We are one global community, and it is our diversity – of culture, perspective, and practice – that fuels innovation and progress.

I encourage you to get involved – in our forums, at our symposium,  with our educational initiatives, advocacy efforts, and collaborative projects. Let us learn from each other, support one another, and build a future where all cancer patients receive the highest standard of pharmaceutical care – regardless of where they live.
