My ambition to serve on the ISOPP Secretariat stems from both professional dedication and personal drive. Having survived lymphoma as a teenager, I have spent my career striving to improve the experience and outcomes of patients facing cancer. That journey, from patient to specialist Haemato-Oncology pharmacist has given me a unique perspective on the value of compassion, precision, and innovation in oncology pharmacy.

At the Royal Marsden Hospital, I have led initiatives that make care safer, more efficient, and with the patient at the centre. I have optimised prescribing services for transplant patients, I have led a clinical team and delivered national education through BOPA, UKBMT, UK Myeloma Society, and presented on multiple advisory boards for drug manufacturers. My work as Patient and Public Engagement Lead for the UKMS Pharmacist Group emphasises my belief that listening to patients and empowering pharmacists go hand in hand.

ISOPP’s mission — to advance oncology pharmacy worldwide through education, collaboration, and leadership — reflects exactly how I see our profession’s future. I would bring to the Secretariat a blend of clinical expertise, practical leadership, and a deep, personal understanding of what great cancer care means to those receiving it.

I want to help ISOPP continue to elevate the global voice of oncology pharmacists: to share knowledge, challenge inequity, and promote a culture where pharmacists are recognised as both scientific leaders and advocates for patients’ dignity and hope.
