ISOPP’s 2024 Annual General Meeting (AGM) initial report

Great to see the phenomenal attendance at ISOPP’s 2024 Annual General Meeting (AGM) today with almost 100 attendees from all over the globe. Evelyn Handel, outgoing president, recapped the past year including our change to no-fee membership, the 10-year vision and 3-year strategic plan, our Chairs provided committee and project updates, and Lynne Nakashima, Awards TF Chair, announced this year’s award winners (https://www.isopp.org/grants-awards/past-award-winners). Netty Cracknell, incoming president, launched the new UTIC learning module (https://www.isopp.org/education-resources/utic), which is a joint collaboration with BOPA, and highlighted our 2025 international annual symposium in Victoria, Canada in collaboration with @CAPhO (https://www.isoppcapho2025.org/)! After the AGM Elaine Vickers PhD led an informative educational session about the 10 hallmarks of cancer and factors that can impact response to immunotherapy. We will be working on the OPAB rebrand over the next few weeks and we also have more education content coming soon.
