The 63rd Congress of the Spanish Society of Hospital Pharmacy (SEFH) was held in Palma de Mallorca from November 8 to 10, 2018 with the slogan ‘Health Moves Us’. The Oncology Pharmacy group of the SEFH (GEDEFO) developed two workshops. The first workshop was entitled “Stratification and pharmaceutical care in oncohematological diseases”, and the objective was to familiarize the audience with a stratification model based on the complexity of the patient and its treatment in order to offer customized pharmaceutical care. The speakers in this workshop included oncohematological pharmacists participating in the study from different Spanish GEDEFO areas: Beatriz Bernardez (Complejo Hospitalario Universitario de Santiago de Compostela), Mª José Martínez (Hospital Universitario Puerta del Mar de Cádiz), José Antonio Marcos (Hospital Universitario Virgen de la Macarena de Sevilla) and Irene Mangues (Hospital Universitari Arnau de Vilanova de Lleida).

In the second workshop we discussed about the generation of real life data in immuno-oncology. It is important to know not only the scientific data that has led to the approval of these drugs, and their efficacy and safety profile, but to share experiences on what the real-life results of these new drugs are like. Prof. Alexandre Chan, ISOPP president, reflected on the international experience and Juan Francisco Marin, Andalusian GEDEFO coordinator, reviewed the results presented at ASCO by oncologists and the Spanish Andalusian oncology pharmacists.
