ISOPP's elections will be held in March 2018. ISOPP is seeking candidates for three Secretariat members for a two year term.

 

Deadline to apply for a Travel Grant for ISOPP 2018 is Monday, January 8, 2018. Up to three travel grants of $2000 CAD each are available for members who have paid their 2018 membership fees.

 

ISOPP's Virtual Education Resource Library (the Virtual Library) serves as a hub for oncology pharmacy practitioners from around the world to access the breadth and depth of knowledge of ISOPP members and others on a 24-hour basis.  

 

Every day oncology pharmacists make a difference in the lives of cancer patients around the world. Part of ISOPP's mission is to support and reward this vital work. We do this through ISOPP's Grants & Awards program.

The ISOPP Credentialing/Specialization/Scope of Practice Task Force is interested in gathering information about how oncology pharmacy practice and oncology pharmacists are recognized around the globe. Gathering this information will allow ISOPP to create materials to help countries recognize and advance oncology pharmacy practice.

 

Submit your abstract(s) online by Tuesday, November 7 at midnight UTC. Submission information and guidelines can be viewed on the ISOPP 2018 website.

 

The Journal of Oncology Pharmacy Practice was recently accepted into the Journal Citation Reports (JCR), and received its first ever Impact Factor in June 2017. This is a great testament to the commitment of the Editors and Editorial Board, who wish to thank the authors and reviewers for their dedication and hard work.

ISOPP is finalizing the process of incorporation of the organization in Canada.   An important step in the process is to assure ISOPP bylaws meet the legal requirements for incorporation in Canada.   Some of the language was changed to: assure the bylaws were consistent with the vision and goals of ISOPP, maintain the foundation established by ISOPP founders and meet legal requirements for Canada.
